The story begins when Queen Cleopatra, infuriated by belittlements from Julius Caesar, makes a daring bet: she will build a magnificent new palace for him in just three months. The architect tasked with this impossible project, Edifis (played by Jamel Debbouze), calls upon his old friends, the Gaulish warriors Asterix and Obelix, for help. Their magic potion, which gives them superhuman strength, becomes key to thwarting the Roman efforts to sabotage the construction.
