"REC" follows TV reporter Angela (played by Manuela Martelli) and her crew as they document the night shift at a local fire station. They respond to an emergency call to a seemingly ordinary apartment building, where they interview the residents and capture footage of a typical evening. However, things take a deadly turn when they discover that one of the residents is infected with a mysterious virus, which rapidly spreads throughout the building, transforming the inhabitants into violent, zombie-like creatures.
