District 13: Ultimatum (original French title: Banlieue 13: Ultimatum ) picks up two years after the events of the first film. The French government has once again abandoned its promise to clean up District 13, a walled-off, lawless ghetto on the outskirts of Paris. As social unrest grows, the ghetto has now splintered into five territories, each controlled by a different, powerful gang boss.
