The story follows Vikram Mayur, a rich Indian born and raised in England, who is forced to return to Bombay (now Mumbai) after the death of his twin brother, Hari. His mission is to find his late brother's eight-year-old son, Nandu (played by Sunny Singh), who has been raised by his caring aunt, Bijuriya. The plot thickens as Vikram, who initially shuns Indian life, finds himself torn between taking Nandu back to England to learn the family business and staying in India with Bijuriya, whom he slowly falls in love with.
