The story revolves around a magistrate named Piyum and her 12-year-old son, Sirimal . They live an upper-middle-class life in Colombo. Piyum is a professional, independent woman who is separated from her husband. While she projects an image of a responsible judicial officer and a caring mother to the outside world, her personal life is complicated.
