On February 28, 2011, the organizations filed an almost 200-page formal complaint with the FCC, and delivered a dictionary of the specific Spanish obscenities and slurs being used to the agency. The complaint argued that the broadcast did not meet the decency standards required by law and effectively incited violence against vulnerable minority groups. "We want it off the air," Alex Nogales, President of NHMC, told the media. "This is pornography".
The show aired twice a day, including in the late morning and afternoon, times when children were likely to be in the audience.
