Reinstall the Samsung USB drivers, try a different USB port on your PC, or swap out the USB cable.

Click the button in Odin and select your downloaded TWRP .tar file. Go to the "Options" tab in Odin and uncheck Auto Reboot .

Connect your tablet to the PC using your micro-USB cable. The ID:COM box in Odin will turn blue, showing a successful connection.
