The film's original Japanese title translates to "After the Graduation Ceremony... A Gift from My Step-Mother to You, Now an Adult." The story follows a young protagonist who has been living away from his parents in a dormitory. His life of independence, filled with the experiences and challenges of student life, is coming to an end, and his graduation day arrives.
